Balance bootcamp is a 90 day program designed to help mothers to identify and care for their needs without dropping the ball in other areas of life. It’s called a boot-camp because breaking the cycle of putting yourself last is HARD WORK! Creating balance is about choices, dedication, accountability and consistency. At the end of the 90 days mothers will have the tools to maintain balance as well as the habits that will encourage them to do so.
Why is balance important?
We are raising the next generation. What we show them, they will mirror. Women have failed to care for themselves while caring for everyone else. Especially mothers. Because of this many mothers have an identity crisis (myself included). As children we watch our mothers feel guilty for doing something for herself while constantly caring for us. It teaches little girls that their needs are not as important as their child's or their spouses. It teaches little boys that a woman is there to care for them but her needs are not as important.
Whereas a fulfilled and balanced mother shows her children what we teach them everyday. That they can be anything they want to be. That a mother’s world doesn’t revolve around her children. Rather she makes special time for them while making sure she also makes special time for herself.
