I am in no way a wellness guru. Honestly I still eat Cheetos and quartz of ice cream in one sitting. Not together...but those are two of my weaknesses. Beyond food and working out I hadn’t put much thought into other aspects of health until 2019 when I started my balance journey. And even then I didn’t connect the dots immediately that the things that I was doing for my mental state were having a direct impact on my physical and even spiritual health as well. When I met Jessica Medina in 2020 in the midst of a pandemic I learned so much! At that time I had no idea that I’d be working on a segment for Boss Moms all over the world. Sure they could just tell us about dietary choices and workouts/programs to help people lose weight and get fit but that wasn’t the core to what made the difference in their own lives. Therefore when Jessica is working with a client, she’s also feeding their soul. One of the coolest things about her program, in my opinion, is that she sends messages to her clients regularly that speak not just to their body knowledge, but their mind and personal growth, and spiritual relationship too. Fitness and health can be really hard and sometimes discouraging. Regardless of what your goals are, when you see other people getting results faster, or seeming to be grasping their routines/diets better it makes it easy to give up. But when you have someone like Jessica pouring into you as you progress it takes the pressure off. Not only do you see someone who is rooting you on but your sense of self worth starts to increase.
